For the first time in China, two organizations working on LGBT issues were on the government list of 'illegal organizations' in the capital of Guangdong Province in Southern China.

In 2019, together we will need to commit to more community organizing, activism, resilience, and be for intersectionality to band together in unity to have more power and influence as well as support each other in advancing human rights for LGBTIQ people everywhere.

We know we are up against a lot of opposition to the rights of LGBTIQ people in so many places around the world. And governments need to hear the concerns of these LGBTIQ communities.
