Bolivia: Shadow Report on the Human Rights of Lesbian, Bisexual, Transsexual, Transgender and Intersex Women

Shadow Report to the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) on the Human Rights of Lesbian, Bisexual, Transsexual, Transgender and Intersex Women in Bolivia.

The shadow report was developed by IGLHRC and local partnership Bolivia and submitted in Spanish with a summary in English for consideration by the United Nations' Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women in reviewing Bolivia's compliance with the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women at the 40th session of the Committee in January-February 2008 (www.un.org/womenwatch/daw/cedaw/40sess.htm).

The shadow report is intended to serve as a source of information for UN Committee experts in addition to the Bolivian government report and the shadow reports from other NGOs.
