El Salvador: Renewed Harassment of GLBT Activists

The premises of Entre Amigos, in El Salvador, are once again under attack. In the last two months, two documented break-ins took place, with confidential information and valuables stolen. This follows a discovery, earlier this year, that Entre Amigos' telephones and e-mail system had been wiretapped. Entre Amigos members have organized volunteer shifts to protect the premises during the night. They have also written to the Director of the National Civilian Police demanding protection.

IGLHRC and Entre Amigos ask that letters be sent to Salvadorean authorities supporting the organization's demand for protection.
