Interview with Chocolate

Guyanese Chaco "Chocolate" Burnette, a male-to-female transgender, was a respected, natural leader in the local transgender community, fondly known for capturing several Miss Guyana Gay Glory crowns in her prime. Chaco died on October 30, 2009, at the Georgetown Public Hospital leaving a youthful legacy of speaking out for the rights of transgender people in Guyana. May her soul rest in peace.
