Morocco: IGLHRC's Letter to the Moroccan Minister of Justice

Below is a PDF version of a letter in French sent to the Moroccan Minister of Jusitce from IGLHRC asking him to object to the conviction of six Moroccan men for homosexual conduct under article 489 of the Moroccan Penal code, which condemns "anyone who commits an indecent or unnatural act with an individual of the same sex." The arrests took place between November 23 and 25 after a video which supposedly depicts a homosexual marriage ceremony was made available on the internet. The men arrested are purported to have attended the ceremony and are visible in the video. Under the code if convicted, the men could face three to ten months of emprisonment.
