Our Mission
Our mission is to empower lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer (LGBTIQ) individuals as architects of a just legal landscape, championing protective laws and policies and advocating for reform through innovative and affirming approaches. We aim to center queer voices in shaping inclusive laws and to challenge oppressive tools that seek to suppress our rights and existence, including discriminatory legal structures and patriarchal norms.
Our Vision
Our vision is to drive a future-forward, dynamic legal revolution that is locally informed and globally impactful. We will work to achieve the enactment of comprehensive anti-discrimination laws, the protection of diverse gender identities and sex characteristics, and the recognition of same-sex relationships, and diverse families.
Our vision includes mapping and creating databases containing national laws, policies, and best practices related to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics (SOGIESC). It also includes creating queer history repositories to build counternarratives that are agile and suited for different country contexts.
Our vision is to engage with LGBTIQ communities by providing insights and tools to support all stakeholders in their efforts to advance legal reform.
Our vision is to resource movements and support fierce local, national, and global legal advocates and paralegals, igniting change from the community level to the world stage as we dismantle discrimination and legal inequalities against LGBTIQ communities worldwide.
