The World Interviews Neela Ghoshal on the Pride Around the World Report

On June 23, 2022, Outright's Senior Director of Law, Policy & Research, Neela Ghoshal, spoke with reporters from The World about the more than 100 countries that held Pride marches worldwide. The ability to safely host a Pride march is a litmus test for democracy. It also presents an opportunity for greater LGBTIQ visibility and creative solutions to anti-LGBTIQ hate from governments or citizens.
