UPDATE: Adoption of Report from Cameroon Universal Periodic Review
The 24th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council is underway in Geneva. On Friday, September 20, the Council will adopt the outcome report of Cameroon’s 2nd Universal Periodic Review.

Wednesday, September 18 at 18h, ILGA will host a debate organized in collaboration with Dialogai, CAM-FAIDS, Alternatives Cameroon and Lawyers Without Borders Switzerland entitled "The floor is given to Cameroonian activists." This panel will provide an opportunity to discuss the situation in Cameroon with activists Franz Michel and Engama Mananga who will be attending the meetings of the Human Rights Council at the United Nations, and Saskia Ditisheim of Lawyers Without Frontiers, Geneva, who, with other lawyers, has defended several cases of LGBT people imprisoned in Cameroon.
