Outright Executive Director Maria Sjödin Quoted in LGBTQ Nation on Overturned Buggery Law in Saint Kitts and Nevis

On August 30, 2022, LGBTQ Nation reported on breaking news stating, "In a major advance for LGBTQ rights in the Caribbean, a court for Saint Kitts and Nevis struck down a colonial-era law that banned the 'abominable' crime of 'buggery.'" The publication quoted Outright's executive director, Maria Sjödin, who stated, "We are witnessing a historic moment in the Caribbean in which antiquated, colonial-era laws are being challenged and struck down...
