COVID-19 Safety Measure
OutRight Action International (“OutRight”) is deeply committed to the health and safety of our event attendees and staff. Based on CDC and New York State guidelines at the time of the event, protocols may include contact tracing survey, vaccination, limitations on belongings, proper mask usage, assigned entry times, contactless temperature check, social distancing, and more. By visiting or entering a venue, the holder of a ticket agrees to abide by all COVID-19 safety measures the venue has implemented for guests and employees. Specific health & safety protocols are subject to change but will be clearly communicated to ticket holders in advance of the event. Ticket holders who do not comply with venue protocols will not be admitted.
COVID-19 Warning and Waive of Claims
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By purchasing a ticket, the holder of the ticket assumes all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting COVID-19. Holder of a ticket voluntarily waives any and all claims and potential claims against OutRight, the event producer, event participants, performers, venue, and manger, and each of their respective employees, agents, affiliates, officers, directors, owners, vendors and contractors, that arise from or relate in any way to, however caused, the risk of contracting or the actual or alleged contracting of COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness, or that arise from or relate in any way to, however caused, the risk of exposure or actual or alleged exposure to a bacteria, virus or other pathogen capable of causing COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness, in each case whether the actual or alleged circumstances giving rise to any claim or potential claim occur before, during, or after the event. Holder of a ticket assumes all risks and losses occurring before, during or after an event, including, without limitation, injury by any cause, and releases each released entity (as defined above) from any and all related claims.
All guests age five (5) and older will need to provide proof they have received either two doses of a two-shot COVID-19 vaccination, or one dose of a single-shot vaccine. Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear a mask. Please note that full COVID-19 vaccination means the day of your event is at least 14 days after your final vaccine dose.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination needs to be directly from a healthcare provider that performed the vaccination (eg. a proof of vaccination card) or a government-certified app, and can be displayed:
- Through a physical copy
- A photo on your smartphone
- Using a government-certified mobile app, such as the NYS Excelsior App or EU Digital COVID Certificate. We ask that you download and log in to apps in advance of arriving at the venue, so you have access to your proof before arriving onsite.
Please have your proof of vaccination and ID ready to show at registration.
You must be fully vaccinated, which means the day of the event must be at least 14 days after the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNtech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine or at least 14 days after the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine.
The documentation needs to be directly from the healthcare provider that performed the vaccination.
Each ticket holder understands and agrees that all tickets purchased are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or transfer. The event will occur rain or shine but in the rare event that the CDC and or New York State prohibits the event because of extremely severe weather, or if an event is postponed due to changes within local and state orders, you will be contacted with an exchange date(s) for the event. OutRight will not issue any refunds for health-related concerns, inclement weather, etc., but will work with each individual or institution to identify mutually agreed upon benefits and/or credits of equal value.
In the event of a canceled event, OutRight will issue a refund of the ticket price paid upon request of the ticket purchaser. In no event will delivery charges or any other amounts be refunded. If a refund is issued, it will be issued using the same method of payment that was used to purchase the tickets. OutRight will not be liable for travel or any other expenses that the ticket purchaser or anyone else incurs in connection with a canceled or postponed event.
OutRight reserves the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or. eject, any person whose conduct management deems disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language and/or who fails to comply with venue rules. Breach of terms or rules will terminate your license to attend the event without refund. A ticket is a revocable license and admission may be refused upon refunding the ticket’s face amount. A ticket is not redeemable for cash.
