The United Nations slogan, as part of the commitment to Agenda 2030, to “Leave no one behind,” should mean no one is forgotten, marginalized, or forced to be silent. “Leaving no one behind,” means inclusion and the need for consultation from all those concerned when programs and standards are set by cities and states.

Today, the World Health Organization announced the release of the International Classification of Diseases-11. The revision comes 18 years after the last ICD was implemented. In a historic move, hard fought by trans groups and advocates as well as experts and professionals, being trans is no longer considered a mental disorder.

For both Paola Harris and Christoff Visscher, their brands were born out of the sense that there was something missing in the tabletop gaming world.
Harris, a fan of Dungeons & Dragons, started her own online store, Paola’s Pixels, because she was unable to find any Dungeons & Dragons merchandise that was “cute and colorful”; the only things that were available were, in her words, “so dark.”

Lesbian Day of Visibility: Human Rights Violations Persist

Issues impacting the lesbian community all around the world are often silenced, unaddressed, and sidelined. In this patriarchal, misogynistic, homophobic, and transphobic world, lesbians face double discrimination: first for identifying as women and second for their sexual orientation. Lesbians who express themselves as butch, are gender non-conforming, or present themselves outside of society’s accepted gender constructs, can often face even harsher victimization.
